Find your future with us.The Visual Systems Team is seeking a Systems Engineer 2 to help build the next generation of flight simulators to train our nation''s military pilots in Hazelwood, MO. With a can-do attitude, you will work as part of a dynamic, fast-paced and agile team that supports the Rotorcraft Agile Release Train. Our team is full of opportunities that will challenge you in new and intriguing ways, let you learn from a highly experienced foundation of team knowledge, and allow you to contribute from your unique experiences to expand the collective capability of the team.The Visual Systems team is part of the Training Solutions organization responsible for the design, development, manufacture, and maintenance of training devices for a wide variety of commercial and military aircraft - everything from F-15 fighter jets to Apache attack helicopters, and NASA''s Starliner spacecraft.Position Responsibilities:Highly motivated and exhibits strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Customer focused and works effectively in a team-oriented environment.Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system dependently determines and develops approaches to solutions.Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.Resolves cross-functional technical issues.This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry or other technical degree2+ years'' experience deploying Microsoft Windows Operating Systems in a real time environment2+ years'' experience configuring networks2+ years scripting in Windows environmentsExperience with image generators/Common Image Generator Interface (CIGI)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile development environmentExperience in requirements elicitation, systems integration, or systems testExperience in supporting a product through an entire development cycleExperience with systems engineering tools such as IBM Rational DOORS (Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System, Cameo, or RhapsodyExperience with Verification/Validation and Systems IntegrationExperience with Image generator/ Common Image Generator Interface (CIGI)Typical Education/ Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years'' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).
