Overview This position is sponsored from the LMI Southwest Regional Office, San Antonio, TX with actual on-site location at Ft. Leonard Wook, Missouri. LMI is a for-profit government consulting firm, dedicated exclusively to advancing the management of the government. Responsibilities Works with a small team of Program/Project Managers, Project Schedulers, Medical and Logistics Planners, Procurement Specialists, Clinical Staff, Hospital Administrators, and Medical Maintenance and Logistics Specialists, working together to improve the nation''s Military Medical capability. As the Senior Logistics Technician for the project, directly evaluates and documents a wide range of project deliverable plans and timelines, assists in the logistics planning and transition processes, training, and procurement closeout. Also serves as the project Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO). Qualifications * Seven to ten years of practical experience in Medical inventory management, supply chain and distribution planning and management, logistics support planning, medical supply contracting, and/or medical materiel management operations. Hands on experience with the DMLSS and Defense Contracting System are required. * Direct experience in conducting market research, developing purchasing documentation plus interfacing with original equipment manufacturers, installers and trainers is required. * Experience with DLA Disposition Services processes and required paperwork to facilitate equipment and furniture turn-ins. * Familiarity with the contracting processes and procedures. * Ability to efficiently and effectively define problems, design data collection methodologies, distill data, reach conclusions, and organize findings is required. * Ability to achieve the OSHA 30 (Construction) certification. * Must be able to achieve the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification. * Strong interpersonal and listening skills are required, with ability to develop and maintain professional relationships within our consulting firm and with our customers. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. This includes ability to compose, write, and edit a variety of proposals, technical presentations, briefings, papers, and management reports. Samples will be requested. * Proficiency with a variety of software applications, computer spreadsheets, MS project management and the Internet is required. * A security clearance is required to obtain a Government CAC Card.
