In the process, we help shape the future of our own platforms by partnering with our product groups to improve them. Our work involves the development of high-impact, open source software assets that contribute to the Microsoft platform that are broadly applicable. You''ll be the sort of person who enjoys a culture that ensures that all voices and perspectives are heard and considered.We are seeking people who have experiences which reflect the qualifications below:Required Qualifications:* 5+ years'' program management experience including shipping complex production systems that run on a public cloud* 10+ years in Software Engineering as Developer, Technical Program Manager or Product Manager.* At least 3+ years of recent experience working with cloud computing technologies.* Track record of working closely with agile and diverse engineering teams.Preferred Qualifications:* Strong program management (PM) experience in managing customer relationships and engagements, triaging and managing priorities in a cloud computing environment.* Experience working within and directing geographically dispersed, diverse, and virtual teams* A Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or the equivalent* Financial Services Industry experience.* Enjoy travel and comfortable with regional travel up to 25%* Comfort with a command line and OSS software.* Understanding of cloud and other computing technologies, including business drivers and emerging trends across Microsoft and non-Microsoft technologies.* Self-starter who likes tackling new challenges and working independently.* Ability to build relationships with senior technical and business leaders.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
