Trek is hiring a Distribution General Manager (DGM) - The individual hired will operate Trek''s 250K sqft. Distribution Center in Carneys Point, NJ. This position reports directly to the Director of Distribution and Delivery. Direct reports include an Assistant General Manager, three Operations Managers, six Team Leads and 60+ hourly employees across three departments. The DGM has complete responsibility for warehouse P&L, employee safety, inventory integrity, cultural health, staffing/hiring strategy, daily production, and management of carrier relationships. The DGM must be able to communicate, collaborate, and work well across teams in a multi-discipline organization. The ideal candidate must be developmentally focused, have great interpersonal skills, have high energy/drive, be a critical thinker, comfortable operating with autonomy and ambiguity, demonstrate strong communication and technical problem-solving skills, and have fun while working for the greatest bike company on earth! *Position responsibilities:** Site P&L management * Exceed KPI''s in the areas of service, cost, safety, and culture * Build, install, and maintain effective safety protocols * Create and maintain a ''customer first'' environment* Implement best practices in hiring, training, and retention* Ensure a positive work environment for employees at all levels* Maintain positive relationships with outside business partners and vendors * Model continuous improvement and lean leadership philosophies* Manage inventory integrity to the highest degree* Confidence in coaching and developing direct reports to reach a high level of performance*Position requirements:** Bachelor''s degree * 5+ years of warehouse management experience* Experience managing both hourly and salaried direct reports* Department/building P&L responsibilities in prior roles* Well versed in Lean methodologies and CI implementation* Prior warehouse staffing and volume forecasting experience* Proficient in Microsoft Office products (advanced Excel capabilities preferred)* LTL & parcel industry knowledgeIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you''ll enjoy your career with us!We are an E-Verify employer.
