To learn more, please see .The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for growing revenue in selected strategic accounts and leading a team of Account Managers within an assigned region. The successful candidate will focus on growth opportunities with existing partners and new partner acquisition to achieve revenue goals established for all product lines. This expectation includes identifying key territorial partners while seeking higher revenue generating opportunities across partners in the region. The RAM will work collaboratively with the ed2go Account Management, Corporate and Marketing teams (and Cengage Learning workforce, institutional sales, and public affairs teams as needed). The candidate should be able to effectively connect with internal and external partners to establish and build working relationships. We are seeking someone who is coachable with an ability to understand business needs and provide viable solutions to reach targeted goals.What youll do here:Collaborate, strategize, and develop plans to target and exceed regional sales revenue goals and management objectivesManage a team in your assigned Region, assisting them to create growth withing their own partner baseWork with assigned partners to launch Marketing initiatives to grow footprint and revenue for those partners.Use analytical skills to become a territorial authority: understand partner needs, identify opportunities for growth, and optimally connect partners with potential funding sources such as grants, workforce, and othersDevelop an account management plan for the region, to drive interactions / frequency of contact with key partners. Review plan periodically with department leadership and your teamHold frequent partner business reviews to increase territory revenue performanceRespond to partner requests and inquiries pertaining to programs, products, & account development and inform Product Management and Marketing of identified market needs and trendsIdentify grant opportunities and works with channel partners to insure ed2go programs are used within those grantsIn conjunction with Workforce Account Managers, work with local partners and workforce boards to get ed2go programs approved at a state level for workforce initiative reimbursementExceed regional revenue goalsAssist in training and onboarding of new Account ManagersMonitor market trends and needs in vocational, professional and personal development education and trainingRun existing account base and, in consultation with the Director of Academic Channel, solicit new partner accountsWork independently, set goals, and monitor progress of goalsTravel to key accounts and attend national conferences on occasion as necessarySkills you will need here:4-year college degree requiredA minimum of 4 years of business to business (B2B) sales experience required2 years of channel sales/marketing experience preferredConsistent track record of territorial development and growthSelf-starter, teammate, critical thinker, can do attitudeStrong telephone, written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbove average digital literacy Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SalesforceOnline research experience and proficiencyEd2go, part of Cengage Group, has empowered millions of learners looking to improve their skills, get employed, and build a career.
