Date Revised: 03/21/2022Position: Supply SpecialistDepartment: MaintenanceReports to: Program ManagerJob Code: Full Time Equivalent (FTE)Classification: Non-ExemptSummary:PKL Services Inc. is contracted to maintain and operate Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) F-15SG and United States Air Force (USAF) F-15E aircraft and equipment assigned to the 366th Fighter Wing located at Mountain Home AFB (MHAFB), Idaho. PKL employees at this site are subject to a Union/Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) regarding employment terms and work rules.The Supply Specialist shall assist in performing supply functions. Personnel performing this work should understand AFMAN 23-110, USAF Supply Manual, Volume 2, Part II, and the AF supply system operation.Tasks and Responsibilities:Research, requisition, and initiate follow-up procedures on parts requests within their control.Order items through the Standard Base Supply System (SBSS).In the event SBSS is inoperable, you will order XB3 items and consumables via Post-Post.Track and update TNBs, when required, and FOM bins for accuracy and storage.Assist with coordination of transportation, palletize tools and equipment, operate forklifts, stage pallets, and load pallets onto trucks.Maintain the support section (composite tool kits, CTKs/special tools, E-Tools, test equipment), mobility equipment and supply support functions to support the production effort.Any and all other duties as directed by the Program Manager/Site Manager.Required Educational/Skills Background:High School Diploma or equivalent.Must be authorized to work in the United States (U.S.).Minimum four (4) years previous experience in Supply duties.Prior Support Section experience highly desirable.Must be able to obtain and retain a Secret security clearance.Physical Demands:This position requires normal physical functions. Work may require frequent bending, reaching, and climbing. May frequently lift and carry items weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with the assistance of other workers. Work may be performed on top or under equipment in cramped or awkward positions. Normal color/depth perception and no record of emotional instability are required.Work Environment (ADA):May be required to work in areas in or near a hangar/ flight line that may be noisy at times. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind.
