NCRC Onsite Lead Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Description We are in search of a Lead Engineer to lead one of our most complex programs. The candidate will manage a program valued over $350M giving you the opportunity to lead one of BAE''s cornerstone cyber integration projects. We are looking for leader with exceptional management, communication, and interpersonal skills. The candidate will have the opportunity to step into a role that will lead all aspects of execution ranging from cost, schedule, staffing, customer engagement, technical execution and business winning on this program. JOB SUMMARY* Provides technical leadership for day-to-day operation. * Responsible for providing planning, direction and coordination of all engineering efforts. Designs, develops and oversees system architectures, including complex systems and systems design activities. * Ensures conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system. * Supports design reviews; Maintains knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies and develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development. * This position is responsible for technical performance and engineering costs and schedules and serves as the Contractor''s technical spokesperson for projects and/or programs. * Advises management and customers on operations and research studies and applications, including technology assessments, schedule and budget development to complete projects and deliver results to customers. RESPONSIBILITIES* Performs systems engineering functions by doing one or more of the following:* Develop, allocate and manage complex system, hardware and software requirements.* Develop complex, safety critical, embedded control system designs and architectures.* Define hardware, software and programmable logic interfaces and functionality.* Prepare documentation for system designs and architectures in accordance with established systems development processes and procedures.* Perform system/product integration.* Verify and validate moderately complex aspects of systems designs to ensure conformance with functional specifications and customer requirements.* Produce technical documents, specifications and standards.* Work as part of a cross-discipline team executing technical tasks to cost and schedule targets.* Prepare and deliver basic customer and technical presentations. Candidates should possess strong communication skills both written and oral. Candidates should also demonstrate sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers.* Will assist in proposal and capture support when necessary.
