Project Manager II with Security Clearance

Position Overview ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of Federal agencies and commercial organizations nationwide. This work is in support of the NSWC DD Dam Neck Activity Systems and Training Division based in Virginia Beach, VA. Description Partner with Project Engineer and Program Manager on a wide variety of project functions including: * Provide project leadership and communications with stakeholders * Assist with project planning, budgets, and scheduling * Identify potential project risks * Review project assessments to determine areas requiring improvement * Provide project management training to enhance project manager skills, tools, and processes for improved business results * Perform quality assessments * Assist with reporting and documenting project objectives * Provide stakeholder briefings Qualifications * Bachelor''s Degree in a technical or managerial discipline is required * Project Management Institute Certification (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP) may be substituted for three (3) years of work experience * 10 years of full time professional experience in project management * Ability to positively and effectively interact with individuals at all levels * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required * Must be proficient with MS Office and MS SharePoint * Experience with MS Project * Experience with Atlassian Jira & Confluence Project Management software Desired: * Experience with Kanban/Agile Methodologies Requests for reasonable accommodations will be considered to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the principal (essential) functions of this job Security Clearance * This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
