Genmab is focused on the creation and development of innovative and differentiated antibody products, with the aim of improving the lives of cancer patients.Primary Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced and pragmatic consultant for the role of IT Infrastructure & Cl oud Security Engineer and Architect. The consultant will work in several important IT infrastructure and business application project s in which i nfrastructure and information security requirements and controls need to be defined and verified. The consultant will be part of the global security team and will report to the Principal Security Officer - US. The consultant is a technically oriented IT professional who has a n excellent knowledge and track record in designing the security of complex infrastructure and cloud solutions. Primary Contacts Reports to Principal Security Officer - US Global Head of IT Security & Risk Management Principal Security Officer - DK Senior IT Compliance Officer Members of ITLT Solution Architects Global Functional unit executives (e.g., Data Protection Officer, Head of QA, Finance Compliance Lead )Job Requirements Education Minimum of a Bachelor''s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related technical field or equivalent work experience. Master''s level degree preferred. Experience 7 + years of experience in information security and IT risk management in general, and security architecture in particular 5+ years of experience in network, application, orinfrastructure security including a mix of hands-on technical work along with compliance and leadership responsibilities 5 + years of experience with AWS / Microsoft Azure cloud solutions and services, of which 3+ years of experience i n AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud security infrastructure architecture, services and solutions 5+ years of hands-on experience in data classification and tagging, data loss prevention and privacy in cloud and on-prem environments. 5+ years of hands-on experience in data management and analytics concepts and services such as Data Wa rehouse, Data Lake, Structured Data, Unstructured Data , etc , and applying security boundaries to these technologies. Deep knowledge and understanding of s ecurity technologies and s ecurity threats Solid e xperience with Compliance (Regulatory and Industry) and Security frameworks 3+ years of experience in a Pharma / Biotech company . Demonstrated experience in w orking in multinational organization and virtual teams . Demonstrated experience of influencing key stakeholders across the organization and within complex contexts . Experience with information systems and services provided by DataBri cks and Snowflake required.Knowledge/Skills Design and implement security architectures (both Native and/or Third party) for different infrastructure and cloud options (Public, Private and Hybrid) Represent the security team in development and implementation of the overall global enterprise IT and Cloud architecture. Act as a IT infrastructure and cloud s ecurity Subject Matter Expert for designsand deployments of infrastructure architectures and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS cloud and DevOps environments Perform threat modelling and design reviews to assess security implications of infrastructure redesigns and cloud adoption Work with infrastructure services and application development organizations to choose appropriate infrastructure and cloud security technology solutions Research and evaluate new technologies to provide more efficient and effective solutions Deliver presentation to IT and business representatives on security technologies and industry trends D isplay leadership and business judgment in anticipating business /project needs and developing alternative solutions Excellent knowledge and insight into business and organizational processes; experience in working in a biotech or pharmacological company is a must. Excellent contact skills being able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders and to deal with the different interests in the organization . Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units . Ability to build consensus, making decisions based on many variables, and gain support for major initiatives. Strong sense of self, ethics and effort, as well as the willingness to go the extra mile to achieve important goals. Good understanding of current and emerging cyber security and privacy regulations and practices, and how other enterprises are employing them . Experience track ing, measur ing and communicating the quality of risk management processes and controls applicable to the IT department . Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain regulatory requirements to IT leaders . Stro ng knowledge of Office tools, mobile, apps, and other IT capabilities which would be expected knowledge for a senior IT role .
