Qualifications:Minimum Masters Degree in a mental health field.Minimum three years related mental health experience preferred.Must have a Full-license and a CAFAS reliable trainerMust be able to demonstrate leadership skills, have knowledge of treatment systems and the ability to successfully help others provide quality services. Must have the knowledge of community resources. Must have the ability to exercise initiative, problem solving and decision-making skills. Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Demonstrate skill in organizing, planning and prioritizing.Must have the background in working with diverse patient populations including chronically mentally ill, substance abuse, geriatric and child and adolescent patients. Demonstrates strong computer skills.JOB HIGHLIGHTS:May maintain a small caseload and engages clients and families in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of stage of readiness and phase of treatment. Maintains all case record documentation. Assigns and supervises the caseload of staff. Assists staff as required to manage their caseload efficiently. Provide individual supervision as needed. Provide additional supervision for staff for professional licensure. Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with ACC policies and procedures.Reviews cases to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services rendered. Conducts staff meetings to review strengths, outcomes, problem areas and plan solutions. Assists staff in improving and updating professional skills. Assists in orientation of new staff. Monitors case records, including the follow-up and referral of clients to community agencies to aid in accurate history. Signs documentation and ensures paperwork is maintained in accordance with Medicaid, MDHHS, and ACC policies and procedures Train new and existing staff in the techniques of Evidenced-Based practices. Assist with data collection, interpretation, formulation and presentation Provide outcome and strength- based supervision to staff utilizing a range of supervision techniques that foster professional development and performance. Conduct clinical case reviews that are competency based, strength based, culturally relevant and focus on improving client outcomes. Conforms to the ethical code of conduct of his/her professional organization and to ACC Corporate Compliance Program and all standards of the Code of Conduct, to the ACC Code of Conduct and to agency policies and procedures. Maintains a current professional license. Attends required meetings and participates in mandatory annual trainings in such areas as recipient rights, confidentiality, corporate compliance, prevention of violence and management of unsafe behaviors and cultural competency. Participates in professional development activities and keeps current with healthcare trends and practices. May also be responsible for the coordination of specific programs and projects as assigned Conducts Performance Appraisals (staff evaluations) on specified clinical staff. Makes recommendations on disciplinary actions, discharges and also recommends pay increases or promotions. Assist with grant and report writing. Conducts staff trainings as needed. Continues to run and develop appropriate curriculum for group therapy. Lead weekly clinical team meetings and ensure clients are assigned to the appropriate staff and ensure staff follow-up with clients. Assist staff with high-risk clients as needed. Work in collaboration with the Quality Department to ensure the standards of the agency. Other duties as assigned.
