Senior Systems Administrator

A client of Insight Global''s is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join their Infrastructure and Cybersecurity support team. This is a diverse role in which the resource will be supporting client based projects, while also playing an operational role within their cybersecurity team. This resource will ensure reliable and secure operations of traditional IT infrastructure supporting critical plant control systems and cloud-based platforms that are supporting the client''s commercial applications. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Cybersecurity monitoring, case investigation, incident response Ownership and administration of enterprise infrastructure and security applications Administration of infrastructure tools such as inventory management, monitoring, patching. Development and implementation of standards, roadmaps, and operating procedures Third level support in troubleshooting of complex technical problems involving both traditional server, virtualization, storage, and network platforms as well as modern cloud-based technologiesLead and manage projects involving multiple capabilities, customers, and vendors Minimum RequirementsMUST HAVES: 2+ years'' experience managing Windows Server systems (2012+) 2+ years'' experience with server virtualization 2+ years'' experience with IAAS technologies Willingness to travel (5-10% a year) Desired SkillsPLUSSES: Experience or interest within in Cyber Security of Information Security Prior experience in process control, components, and architectures Understanding of complexity and a ''think before you click'' mentality.
