System Test Engineer

Mission The System Test Engineer ensures that business requirements failures are detected during the System test activities. Leads and coordinates the System testing activities. Reports to the System Validation TPM. Responsibilities -Establishes and aligns System Test Plan & Strategy based on System Integration, Verification and Validation test strategy (incl. Deterministic test, Verification, Validation, Statistical tests, KPIs) according to allocated scope. - Defines to Sys Val Services Coordinator needed services in terms of Data collection, annotation, data logistic, tool automation / tool chain and car modifications & follows up with Sys Val Services Coordinator i.e Acts as Customer of Sys Val Services Coordinator. - Supports the definition of the System Integration, Verification and Validation test strategy. - Ensures feasibility of the System testing activities. - Ensures the application of the Project test strategy in System test teams (incl. System Test Process). - Analyzes and approves testability of requirements. - Defines and deploys the System Test Resources (Engineers & Environment) Deployment Plan. - Supports the design of the System Test Environment. - Reviews & Approves the System Test Specification. - Freezes the content of the System smoke test. - Reviews & Approves the System test execution. - Prepares the System Test Report - Communicates the System Test Report to all Stakeholders, incl. FuSa. - Closes the System test activities. - Defines, tracks and reports KPIs (System Test Status) in his/her area of responsibility. - Continuously identifies areas for improvement, defines measures and ensures implementation in his/her area of responsibility. - In case of deviations, escalates to the Test Management Lead and provides adequate information and proposals for decision making. - Takes part if the Function Core Team.Requirements - Experience in project management (plan, monitoring and control against priorities...) - Experience in system testing - Understanding of system test case writing methodologies and test execution - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication/reporting skills - Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE®), regarding verification and validation process areas - Optional: Certified ISTQB Test Manager Advanced Level - Mechanical, Electrical, Sw Engineering degree or similar
