MAJOR FUNCTION : This role is responsible for promoting the health system''s mission, brand, and services using marketing automation tools with a primary focus on digital media channels, including email and SMS. The best candidate excels in automation journey mapping, email marketing, social networking, digital storytelling, and customer engagement. The Marketing Automation Specialist works in partnership with the Corporate Marketing & Public Relations team and internal stakeholders to generate, edit, publish, and share content regularly that builds meaningful connections and encourages patients and community members to take action. The Specialist will focus on mass messaging to all subscribers as well as personalized direct-to-patient strategies that include acquisition, nurturing, engagement, and retention campaigns with ad-hoc, drip, and automated tactics. Strong reporting skills and a data-based mentality are a must. This role collaborates closely with other digital specialists on the team to create omnichannel campaigns with active contributions to website and social media efforts. This position is remote but will require occasional travel to the office, including at least twice for onboarding. QUALIFICATIONS: A. Education: Bachelor''s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or related field and/or comparable experience in digital marketing. B. Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in digital marketing, communication, or related field. Experience in health care is preferred. Recent experience in the specialty area is required. Deep understanding of analytics with a proven track record of using data to drive decisions. 1+ year experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and web analytics. 1+ year experience with basic HTML and content management systems. Must be proficient writer, particularly for digital media. Customer service skills required. Technology experience required: Proficient in MS Outlook, PPT, Excel, Word, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, Listrak or similar email marketing tool (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.), Adobe Photoshop/Canva or similar design tool. Technology experience preferred: Drupal/WordPress or similar CMS, Adobe Creative Suite, HIVE or similar project management tool, Meltwater, SEMrush, MS Dynamics/Salesforce or similar CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
