About the Role TSENG is embedded within Zoom''s dynamic Trust & Safety (T&S) team. This team is committed to bringing happiness to customers while creating a culture of trust, safety, and respect. In doing so, this contributes to our steadfast commitment of promoting a space that allows for exchanges of ideas. Trust & Safety Engineers oversee the entire software development lifecycle. TSENG builds scalable systems to protect customers and prevent malicious activities from happening on Zoom all while continuing to work towards our mission of keeping users safe. Position OverviewTech stack: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, React, Redux, Java, Spring, MySQL, DynamoDBBuild customer-facing websites with responsive web design principles to facilitate an enriched experienceWork closely with UX, product owner, and team members to translate design requirements into featuresDevelop our Trust and Safety core platform and microservices with React & Spring BootCreate a secure and scalable platform using AWS and the latest cloud infrastructure technologiesImplement and improve cloud-based test automation solutions and deployment strategy to optimize product stability and feature qualityWork with devops to manage the deployment and scaling of web application infrastructureBuild complex metrics solutions with data-visualization support for applicable business insightsMinimum Technical RequirementsBachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 2+ years of software development experience building large-scale web applicationsFrontend javascript experience building React single page web applicationsExperience using a client-side state management framework like ReduxExperience with implementing performant server-side logic and APIsIn-depth experience with algorithms, data structures, and design patternsBonus PointsExperience styling websites according to responsive web designKnowledge of performance optimization techniques to reduce page load timeExperience with or willingness to learn Vue.js as a secondary proficiencyServer-side programming experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVCWorking knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (ex. MySQL, Amazon DynamoDB)Experience using testing libraries including for unit tests (ex. Mocha, Jest, Sinon, Proxyquire, Mockito) and browser automation tests (ex.
