Company :Highmark HealthJob Description :JOB SUMMARYThis job is part of the Product and Health Experience team and will be a thought leader and champion for the design-driven and human-centered methods. Our Design Practice exists to gain a deep understanding of the human behaviors, challenges, needs and unmet needs for those providing, supporting, and receiving care. We use that understanding to lead cross-functional, participatory co-design experiences that generate concepts, experiences, tools, delivery models and care paths that are transformative, not just incremental.The incumbent will shape design strategy and apply their expertise in Human-Centered Design, Experience Design and/or Service Design to create products, solutions and experiences that have measurable impact. Will also provide support to define and deploy design methods, processes and tools that will fuel the Design Practice Operating Model across engagements with the Curated Health Model, Customer Experience, Clinician Experience, and other workstreams.The incumbent will be comfortable with ambiguity and seek to foster alignment and collaboration with Design Owners, Business Stakeholders, Portfolio Leads and matrixed teamstranslating goals, defining timelines, seeking feedback, and articulating insights into actions that push delivery of solution designs forward. Will work with deep commitment to design the right experiences, products, and experiences for our customers and clinicians. Candidate will have experience leading end-to-end human-centered programs and projects with deep capabilities in discovery, problem framing, articulating insights and opportunity areas, concept development and prototyping. The candidate will focus on reshaping the customers experience through deep understanding of the customer journey across multiple touchpoints. Will be a champion of customer-centric design with the ability to craft compelling customer narratives to build empathy and evoke action amongst partners. Previous financial experience is a plus.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESProvide support to create, deploy, and manage/continuously optimize detailed design methodology, design process, design standards, Agile delivery practices, technology, and tools that are consistently applied to all Living Health solutions.Support Curated Health Model, Customer Experience,Clinician Experience, and Integrated Experienceteams as assigned for project duration.Create and deliver training for design team standards of practice.Provide directionwithin cross-functional teams and problem solve using visual, communication & service design, interaction design, UX design, and human centered design to drive solution design delivery. Synthesize research information, identifies insights and applies to solution/product design.
