The ideal candidate will be known for being resourceful, detail oriented, and have strong organizational skills.OVERVIEWFunction as an internal consultant to the Human Resources organization and cross-functional business leaders. The role will drive the overall development of global compensation plans, programs, and policies. Lead salary management, including position benchmarking, job description creation, job evaluation, survey participation/management, data analysis, incentive program and salary structure creation/administration. The Compensation Manager will support other compensation projects, including developing compensation strategy, the annual merit process, incentive planning, market adjustment initiatives, process improvement initiatives, and HRIS updates.WHAT YOU''LL DO* Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Business leaders in crafting global compensation packages that are internally equitable and externally competitive.* Contribute to the ongoing development of the compensation philosophy.* Be a leading voice in the design and execution of equity programs.* Deliver compelling and relevant training and communications materials that educate and inform employees on total rewards.* Manage and analyze complex datasets to distill insights and convey findings and build tools as required to improve efficiency.* Continually evaluate compensation programs to ensure they are legally compliant, competitive, aligned with the overall compensation philosophy, and driving the appropriate business results.* Manage the compensation function and administer compensation related programs and policies.* Oversee base salary and incentive programs, job evaluations, and salary survey participation and procurement.* Conduct market analysis of jobs to determine competitive positioning of pay programs.* Participate in annual salary administration programs, including salary structure creation and maintenance and development of incentive or salary increase budgets.* Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement.* Follow safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the job.* Perform additional duties as assigned.WHAT YOU BRING* Bachelor''s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related area of study* 5+ years'' experience in Human Resources, Compensation, Finance, or related field* Demonstrated subject matter expertise in all areas of compensation program design and administration, plus a strong focus on project management and communications* Strong skills in Microsoft Office suites (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)* Strong skills in HRIS and Talent Management platform administration (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, etc.)* Experienced executive communicator, preferably with C-Suite Leaders.* Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently on issues of high complexity.* Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders at all levels.* Fluent in federal and state labor law such as FLSA, OFCCP regulations regarding pay, minimum wage, and the Equal Pay Act.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Global compensation program experience preferredBENEFITS & PERKS* Paid Vacation, Sick and Holidays* 401k plan - with a 4% immediate match* Tuition Assistance Program* Established reputable brand offering premium products - you''ll be proud to represent Pelican!* Prime location - minutes away from the beach!* Amazing employee discount program on Pelican Products* Great Benefits - several options including Pet insurance for our animal lovers.* Wellness Discount Program* Access to Exclusive Branded Pelican Apparel store* Lucrative employee referral program - get paid to work with your trusted network.* And more...LI-POSTPelican Products, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex including sexual orientation and gender identity, national origin, disability, protected Veteran Status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
