J&J is recruiting for an IT Manager Global Labs - Service Owner, TS MLL located in Raritan, NJ or Malvern, PA or Raynham, MA.As an IT Manager within the MLL organization, you will oversee several parallel internal projects that serve our enterprise laboratory systems across the world for all J&J sectors (within both GxP and Non-GxP environments). You will manage vendor resourcing, contracts, budgeting, and shape future technology strategy roadmaps as partners to Business Technology Product Lines and Business Owners. This position is accountable in ensuring quality laboratory systems delivery end to end through a development life cycle from build/development to continuous operational production continuity/stability. This role must coordinate with numerous ancillary critical teams such as quality, Business and BT globally while also being adaptable to help solve technical problems as required.Key Responsibilities:* Manage, and accountable for, end-to-end application life-cycle service delivery for complex enterprise LIMS, ELN, SDMS, CDS, and/or other home-grown applications across both R&D and Supply Chain.* Adaptive and knowledgeable of industry trends, and best practices, in the IT and quality laboratory landscape.* Quality first mentality. Hands-on experience implementing complex software in ISO and 21 CFR part 11 compliance.* Lead problem and change management, at a technical level, for all the assigned portfolio laboratory systems.* Possess a thoughtful leadership attitude; operate tactfully, effectively and as a servant leader.* Coordinate with adjacent IT and business organizations to define, scope, and price project team structures to support full SDLC delivery of small enhancement projects up-to and including large multi-year program engagements.* Facilitate communication with leadership and other key strategy stakeholders on financial and delivery status of portfolio* Build and maintain strategic vendor relationships.* Partner with stakeholders to influence, define, and shape overall technical portfolio strategy.* Responsible for ensuring project goals & objectives are met. Appropriately set and manage project expectations with key stakeholders given project input assumptions & strategy.* Structure and lead ''Phase 0'' assessments on-the-ground with stakeholders to carefully identify, and prioritize, key business needs, and break these needs into appropriate methodological requirement structure (stories, functional-requirements, etc.,).QualificationsEducation:BA/BS required, BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or Chemistry/Sciences Required.Experience and Skills:Required:* 5+ years of managing/architecting quality laboratory systems (LIMS, ELN, Chromatography, SDMS) in a global, multi-site, environment.* Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, Confluence)* Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles* Excellent Communication, time management and organizational skills with extended experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others* Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality* Self-starter able to appropriately prioritize work that aligns with global goals & objectives.* Transformational leadership experience.Preferred:* Master''s degree in STEM or relevant field of study.* 8+ years of managing/architecting quality laboratory systems (LIMS, ELN, Chromatography, SDMS) in a global, multi-site, environment.* Project implementation methodology certifications (Agile, Waterfall).* Experience implementing automation testing.* Vendor applicable certifications/documented training in LabWare, LabVantage, Empower, and/or Cyberlab Technologies* AWS and/or Azure Cloud certifications.* Relational database technical knowledge.* Object oriented programming language, and software engineering best practices, for implementing & enhancing enterprise software.Other:* English Language required, Travel percentage 10% (domestic & international)At Johnson & Johnson, we''re on a mission to change the trajectory of health for humanity.
