Grooming Technician in Training

OverviewThis position is responsible bathing and brushing dogs in preparation for grooming.ResponsibilitiesDeliver world class customer satisfaction to customers and petsBook appointments and greet pets upon check-inFollow bathing/brushing procedures as outlined by Groomer ManagerClean ears and clip nails Adhere to customer instructionTalk to dog or use other techniques to keep dog calmAnswer phone and schedule customer appointmentsComplete and maintain customer and company formsFill out required grooming forms accuratelyObserve all safety rules and procedures and adhere to safety standardsSweep, vacuum, clean and sanitize cages, tubs, and other cleaning as needed to adhere to standardsAssist in store operations as neededQualificationsExperience: Minimum of 1-year experience grooming/styling pets. Must be comfortable working with dogs. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
