Learn more about our benefits here: About the opportunity: We currently have openings for Survey Data Collection Systems Project Managers (internal title: Advisory Services Analyst) with a strong interest in managing and evaluating federal, state, or foundation health policy and programs. The advisory services analyst role blends management and research. As such, we are seeking prospective employees with a passion for project management and an interest in improving government operations and health care delivery. In particular, we are looking for individuals who can support current and emerging work across any number of areas such as: disability, public health, behavioral health, social determinants of health, evaluation of delivery and quality of services for beneficiaries, data analytics, and outcomes of innovative programs and policies. Candidates do not need to have experience in all these areas but should have experience in at least one of them. Advisory services analysts work across multiple policy areas, typically on 2-3 projects at a time in roles requiring team management and direct client contact. Across all projects, analysts are expected to: Provide the direction and organization needed to help keep projects on time and on budget and facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders.Develop and maintain project collaboration tools, including Microsoft Project schedules, SharePoint websites, Jira trackers, and Excel spreadsheets.Manage multiple data programs and information, including data design, programming, resolving data flow issues, and maintaining security compliance across projects. This includes overseeing teams of programmers and subject matter experts in designing, testing, and deploying data collection systems; developing and implementing procedures to receipt, process, store and review administrative data files submitted by grantees.Maintains compliance with client security requirements by coordinating interdisciplinary teams in obtaining suitability determinations, conducting security training, production of annual system security plans, performing independent security assessments, communicating with clients, and assessing security issues associated with project activities.Learn complex policies and develop subject matter knowledge to serve in research-oriented roles that complement their project or task management assignments, like conducting qualitative data collection activities, and contributing to study conceptualization and design, survey development, and qualitative coding and analyses.Apply rigorous analytic thinking to analyze and interpret qualitative, quantitative, or other program data to evaluate policies and programs or inform the delivery of technical assistance on federal, state and foundation health policy projects.Evaluate operational components of projects and programs and describe problems, options, and solutions to senior staff and clients.Author client memos, technical specifications or user manuals for reporting systems, issue briefs, chapters of reports, and webinar presentations or other technical assistance tools.Bring creative ideas to the development of proposals for new projects. Position Requirements: Master''s degree in public health, public policy, public administration, business, or health-related field; or 3 years of commensurate experience in operations, data collection and systems, survey, or management-oriented positions.Work experience with a federal or state agency, foundations, or other health care entities is highly desirable.Excellent oral and written communication skills, specifically the ability to write clear and concise documentation and to speak with clients terest in improving and researching government programs or providing technical assistance to health care entities.Experience bridging between business owners and technical staff is helpful.Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail; flexibility to manage multiple priorities, sometimes simultaneously, under deadlines.Some travel may be required. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
