Director of Nursing RN (DON/DNS) Interim or Permanent

Bear Mountain Healthcare is looking for an experienced, motivated and creative Director of Nursing (DON/DNS) for our West Springfield, MA location. The Director of Nursing is responsible for the Clinical Oversight, Planning, Quality, and Supporting of the Nursing Services within the organization. The Director of Nursing ensures all Department of Health Regulations are adhered to. Compliance with All State and Federal Guidelines required. The position reports to the Facility Administrator About our facility: Bear Mountain at West Springfield offers short-term rehab, long-term care, memory care and respite care needs of patients and their families. This 148-bed facility provides services that include Post-Acute Care, Short-Term Rehabilitation, Long-Term and Respite Care. BSN preferred At least five (5) years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility, including geriatric and/or psychiatric nursing. Ability to incorporate all aspects of nursing in total resident care plan. Ability to organize, plan and supervise the nursing service departments.
