Engineering Manager

Duties and Responsibilities: •Recruitment of Engineering resources to increase staffing levels. •Oversee engineering duties associated with all modular design. •Develop and deliver training for key competencies of to ensure the engineering team grows in its capacity to support the business needs. •Review critical drawing submittals and develop a reviewing process ensuring that our quality is best in class. •Review of footing/slab design from others in support of projects. •Ensure that the Engineering Department is well versed and trained to ensure the output for a project (drawings and supporting calculations) meet the applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Qualifications•Minimum: Bachelor''s in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineering License. •Knowledge in modular construction. •Prior leadership experience. •Proficiency in the following software: AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or Revit, Microsoft Office and Solidworks. •Must work well in a team setting, be able to multitask, and be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines. •Demonstrate the capacity to manage multiple activities and personnel at once. •Strong communication and interpersonal skills. •A commitment to grow and mature in the mission, vision, and core values of the Company. •A friendly, professional, optimistic demeanor. •Composure under pressure and ability to maintain flexibility.
