The Client Service and Implementation Product Organization is a newly-formed team that will oversee product and platform strategy, design and execution. The Client Service and Implementations team is comprised of three main functions: Client Service, Implementations and Strategic Transformation. Our job is to provide a best in class service experience to our clients, while also integrating our businesses and designing the Client Service and Implementation (CS&I) operating model of the future. This initiative is a top strategic priority for Payments and will raise the competitive profile of the CS&I function and broader Payment business, provide a market-leading client experience, improve cycle times and significantly improve the efficiency in serving our clients. The Data Strategy Vice President will interface with Technology partners, Middle Office Implementations and Service, Operations, and other product transformation teams to efficiently and effectively provision products for JPMorgan Payments clients. Learn about the payments solutions and product implementation lifecycle. Then, make an impact by building technology and data flows which improve this process as well as improve the experiences of our clients and employees. In this role, you will define how data moves between Middle Office Implementations product requests and into Back Office Operations product setup. A successful applicant should also be able to work independently on specific tasks and exhibit superior ability to support data requests, perform complex data analysis, and communicate recommended solutions (both written and verbal). Key responsibilities Rationalize data requirements across stakeholders and applications; identify and resolve gaps in data requirements Investigate and define detailed current state and target state data flows across front, middle, and back office applications Understand the data strategy and business process to recommend new processes which increase data utilization and business outcomes Work with partners to evolve our strategy on master and reference data business architecture, and integration processes to ensure consistent data across applications Assist in evaluating new data sources for consumption into strategic data sources, necessary additional rules to be developed in mastering domains, and coordinating with external and internal parties as required Ability to analyze complex data issues, understand requirements, review data analysis, make recommendations, and facilitate group discussions with stakeholders to syndicate proposed solutions Manage resource allocation, develop strategy and project plans and status report, and manage applicable project executions Qualifications Experience in supporting and building Data Management program and process, data integration, data quality tools, data profiling, data inventory, data architecture, data quality metrics and monitoring, and operation process Demonstrated ability to proactively identify problems and find solutions. Detail-oriented with an analytical mind and problem-solving skills to data analysis Ability to work with senior management and respond quickly; ability to partner with internal partners and leverage internal resources Strategic thinker who understands and supports the goals and direction of the firm Prior experience managing a large, global, multi-disciplinary stakeholder group and solving international or region-driven challenges Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Ability to handle multiple assignments and be proactive in a fast-paced environment, while remaining calm under pressure Strong interpersonal and partnership skills Knowledge and Skills Preferred Ability to think creatively, take initiative and be able to learn new technical topics, understand system designs and develop technical skills. Ability to clearly structure abstract problems and provide sustainable solutions. Ability to work within cross-functional project teams as a subject matter expert, independently work on complex data topics, and have critical thinking to problem-solving skills.
