The company represents only the leaders in engineered materials. We are seeking a top-notch Technical Sales Representative who has a proven record of building and maintaining customer relationships. The responsibility of this position is to work with both engineers and purchasing agents to specify products for manufacturing applications. This position also includes selling composite materials within the markets of aerospace, military, marine, medical, and the tooling fabrication industry. The candidate will establish and enhance customer relationships in order to increase revenue and profitability, as well as customer loyalty. This position will make planned, value-added outbound communications to assigned accounts, prospective customers, and qualified new customers to identify and understand customer needs to then fulfill those needs with Kayden products and services.*** This is NOT a remote position. Krayden, Inc. will NOT pay for relocation expenses***Job Summary:Technical Sales Representatives (TSRs) are individuals dedicated to finding, developingand growing both new and existing customers in their territory. This also includes inter-territorysupport, management and relationship building of all accounts with multi-territorial locations. TSRs arevital members of the dynamic Sales team here at Krayden, Inc., whose foundation is anchored onteamwork, integrity, accountability and a ''can-do'' attitude. This role requires exercising independentjudgment to perform but not limited to the responsibilities summarized below.Key Responsibilities:Proactive outbound communicationsOutbound face to face, telephone, email, fax and mail communications to customers and prospects in order to identify needs and provide Kayden''s solutions. This will include interacting with both purchasing and engineering.Reactive Inbound communicationsResponsible for trouble shooting complex customer problems, inquiries / service requestsRespond to Requests for proposals / quotes, regional referrals, blanket order requests, large order pricing / discounting etc.Assist inbound customer service representatives with complex problem resolutionAnswer inbound phone calls as necessary when at branchComplete all scheduled follow up calls/ communicationsInterdepartmental integrationUtilize customer profile data (SIC Codes, NAIS Codes, past history, geographic region etc.) to target accounts with the greatest potential and match business fit with KraydenProbing of customer / prospect needs in order uncover sales opportunitiesResponsible for the promotion of Kayden''s products and services Building Brand awarenessResponsible for retaining sales in assigned accounts Development and implementation of Account Plans /campaigns to identify additional business with past purchasers as well as new accounts in order to penetrate accounts and secure greater share of customers supply needsCoordinate and execute special product offerings working in conjunction with the product managers to increase sales and vendor supportShare issues and concerns with appropriate personnel which is pertinent to the relationship with the customer /prospectPartner with Marketing, Tech support and other departments as necessary to develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns within TerritoryReporting and Special ProjectsComplete all deadlines for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.Attend regular ongoing sales and product trainingResolve all customer issues in a timely mannerRoutine sales travel to visit new and existing customers, attend and participate in relevant trade shows. Krayden sponsored training as well as supplier sponsored training.Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities using available resources.Ensure that the database (Kube) is current and updated with accurate customer and opportunity information.Execute timely preparation of all expense reports, budgets, and all other reports as requested by Krayden Managers, customers and suppliers.Keep management and Krayden team members informed of all relevant activity.Properly maintain all Krayden supplied cars, equipment, computers, etc. as appropriate within specifications and/or ply with all Krayden guidelines outlined in the Krayden employee handbook.Perform duties to AS/ISO and applicable Accounting procedures and regulations.Desired Skills and Experience:High School degree required; College degree/some college preferred.Minimum 3 years prior telephone or face to face sales experienceThree to five years industry experience.Proven experience driving successful sales results (sales growth year over year, improved customer retention, quantifiable business results, etc.)Proven results (quantifiable, definitive plan, execution, and results) in providing value added service to customersStrong PC and computer software experience Microsoft word, outlook, excel, PowerPoint and CRM SoftwareExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Strong analytical/discerning skillsExceptional listening and probing skillsAbility to lead, motivate and direct the work of others Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environmentA background/knowledge of industrial distribution is a plus****Bilingual is a plus!***Benefits: Krayden offers a competitive employee-focused benefits package which includes Medical, Dental, Vision Care & Life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), HRA''s, 401(K) Retirement Plan, Aflac Insurances & much more.
