Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.As a Strategic Pricing Lead, for Mobile Business Unit (MBU), at Micron Technology, Inc, your primary responsibilities will be driving price optimization across a range of products into mobile segments and customers. You will be responsible for building price negotiation strategy and analyzing financials to facilitate executive decision. Under Strategic Marketing team, you will work closely with Sales, Finance, Client Marketing, Business Operations and Product Management teams.Responsibilities:Major lead for MBU product price negotiation by collaborating closely with Client marketing, Sales, Operations to achieve Business resultsOwn the mobile product (DRAM, NAND, MCP) pricing forecast process, both short term and long term, by synthesizing inputs from Sales, other BUs and Corp Market Intelligence teamLead strategic initiatives to drive and optimize MBU portfolio profitability by driving across functional teams (finance, Operations, Product Managers)Conduct research and perform competitive pricing analysis. Close interaction with Sales before, during and after the negotiationDevelop, evaluate, implement and monitor pricing strategies and value-based pricing models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics.Create/administer pricing databases and coordinate implementation of pricing proposals across the charge of MBU salesforce approval to all the quarterly quotations, and maintain price forecast in SalesforceWork closely with Product Managers to decide the business case pricing for new product introduction and Return-of-Investment evaluationMinimum Requirements:0-5 years of experience in same or similar field.Entry level applicants welcomed.BA degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or related field of study.Preferred Requirements:Master''s degree in technology.MBA in related field.About Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
