DESCRIPTION OF WORKYou will ensure that IT service excellence is delivered to the EBR DC and must be skilled in IT management, customer service, problem solving, and process improvement. The Service Desk Manager manages a team that supports multiple agencies with numerous office locations statewide. The Service Desk Manager is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and resolution of Tier 1 technical issues. The Service Desk Manager ensures high quality and consistent technical support to increase customer satisfaction while motivating and cultivating the Service Desk team. Work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with a 1 hour lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Information Technology Generalist Administrator 1, Senior Applications Developer, Database Administrator 1, Data Administrator 1, Information Security Specialist 2, or Network Administrator 1; or Four years of information technology experience that includes three years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associates degree in any information technology field;or Six years of information technology experience that includes three years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs,or other information technology support/administration services;or Two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and a bachelor''s degree in any information technology field;or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
