Test Lab Technician (2nd & 3rd Shift)

It has an excellent reputation for delivering top results and exceeding customer expectations within the deep draw and aerosol can industries.Be able to read and understand test procedures as written.Perform tests as defined in customer requirements, internal test methods, or applicable standards.Operate test equipment, Monitor tests in process, Lab cleanliness and safety, Modify fixturing for test setup, Setup and modify testsInspect test samples and record test data utilizing MS Office Suite.Plan and schedule work to effectively utilize laboratory resources and balance testing priorities.Use spreadsheets to record measured data and be able to perform basic data analysis (average, standard deviation etc.).Document all test relevant data in a appropriate form (photos, video, measurement data)The ability to work with data collection equipment including meters, sensors, and gauges.Program cycle controllers, environmental chambers, and operate servo-hydraulic equipment as determined by area of responsibilityOpen to learn new skills as required with evolving needs of the Test LabTakes a logical, analytical approach to problem solving and pays close attention to detail.Test part tracking thru ply with Drawform procedures, safety standards, and housekeeping practices.Enjoys getting your hands dirty and being involved in building, testing, and du-bugging tools throughout the development cyclePerform other duties as assigned or directed.Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously such that business objectives and project timelines are maintained. Capability of accurately using all laboratory equipment. Basic mathematics skills (i.e. geometry, trigonometry, shop math, conversions and basic algebra). Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite). Experience with Material Testing Equipment such as Hardness Testers, Tensile Testers, Burst and Fatigue Testers.
