Superintendent

Trillium Construction is now looking for a Superintendent who will be responsible for maintaining and meeting project schedules, material delivery, system programming, start-up and check out, performance of installers, and the timely execution of fire alarm, security, and specialty system projects. Responsibilities: • Provide customer and co-worker support. • System programming, start-up, and pre-test, and final test as required. • Assisting PM, sales reps, and estimators with project scope review, and system design. • Coordination of all assigned projects with customer, AHJ when required, and PM. • Oversee and assist with multiple ongoing projects. • Understand the contracted scope of work on all assigned projects. • Work with PM to identify any possible required RFI''s and / or change orders. • Oversee the performance of our installers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure that all work is completed on time, on schedule, and to specification. • Identify any filed performance issues to the PM. • Assist PM in monthly labor and material cost forecasting for assigned projects. • Assist PM in material ordering, tracking, and delivery. • Maintain company, and any customer''s, required safety processes and procedures. • Maintain, track, oversee, and produce required project documentation, dailies, safety, etc. • Maintain up to date As-Built documentation throughout project lifecycle. • Assist PM and engineer to coordination of final Turnover Package and General User Training. • Assist PM and engineer with the project turn over package to the service department. Position is full-time, 40 hours a week, salary negotiable based on experience, temp to perm. If interested, please apply today! Qualifications• System Programming, Checkout, Startup and System Commissioning. • Minimum of 5 years in the fire alarm industry. • Strong computer skills required, MSOffice, MS Project, etc.... • Firm understanding of reading and understanding shop drawings. • Ability to read and interpret project design documentation. • Effective communication skills both written and verbal. • In depth knowledge and understanding of local and state code, IFC and NFPA. • State of CA Electrical Installer / Blue Card • Valid driver''s license. Desirable Skill Set: • NICET II or higher • Manufacturer certifications AutoCall, EST3, Notifier, JCI, Hirsch, Bosch, Qugnify, etc.... • Project financial reporting and forecasting • MS Dynamic AX • MS Dynamic CRM • AutoCAD • Bluebeam Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
