Summarized Purpose: Supports analysis and financial reporting of government contract deliverables in accordance with contract compliance, including budget to actual analyses, revenue forecasts, accounts reconciliations and various startup support.. Essential Functions and Other Job Information: Ensures daily FAR compliance tracking on government funded contracts. Prepares basic contract deliverables and provides deliverable tracking. Identifies and supports resolution of issues related to contract modifications, values and deliverables. Prepares daily and monthly client financial reporting (internal and external). Conducts analysis of budget to actual data on monthly/quarterly/annual basis and for revenue calculations and forecasting. Maintains regular internal and external client contact. Analyzes and prepares WIP (in-process inventory), backlog and billing reconciliations as well as government indirect rate reconciliations. Assists with various contract startup activities, including system setup, financial report formatting and monthly call agendas. Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor''s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 2 years). In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic understanding of accounting/financial practices and regulations/legal requirements Knowledge of budget to acutal analysis and forcasting Basic knowledge of GAAP and FAR compliance Solid analytical and quantitative abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Strong organizational and time management skills Confidence to handle sensitive information and make sound recommendations Ability to juggle multiple tasks whilestill delivering high quality results Good written and oral communications skills General Office Based PPD values the health and wellbeing of our employees.
