GEODynamics in Millsap, TX is looking for qualified candidates for SC Manufacturing Engineering Technician. Our campus is on the frontage road of Interstate 20 near Millsap, TX. When we contribute to the company''s success, we all win.Key AccountabilitiesSets up and operates production equipment and performs basic maintenance on machines.Calibrates or adjusts equipment to ensure quality production, using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, protractors, or ring gauges.Troubleshoots and resolves technical and equipment problemsAssists in maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing department and plant goals.Provides technical support to engineers during the design of manufacturing processes for productionAssists in training new employees and reports unusual conditions, safety issues or defective material to management.Sets up and verifies the functionality of safety equipment.Monitors and adjusts production processes or equipment for quality and spects finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.Maintains work area housekeeping and assist in department/team housekeeping effortQualification, Experience, Skills/KnowledgeTwo-year degree or equivalent experience in an electronics, manufacturing, or mechanical fieldExperience working within a team environmentExperience with machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics, including electrical & mechanical.Possesses strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control techniques to maximize effective production.Ability to lift up to 60 lbs on a regular basis Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
