AWM Change Mobilization The AWM Change Mobilization team partners with Operations, Technology and Business leadership to take the best of what we do, within and across LOBs, and drive deliberate cross-pollination across AWM Operations teams, promoting global process consistency and standards. We focus on evolving the organization''s capabilities to move from lower to higher-value added tasks, and creating agile processes, teams and infrastructure that enable differentiated client experiences and outcomes. We follow a hypothesis-driven, data-informed approach to identify opportunities and employ co-design principles to create effective, scalable, well controlled solutions. Those solutions seek to differentially equip our people and support their development as Operations professionals of the future. We serve the broader organization and maintain a service-oriented attitude in all that we do. The team You will be joining a product work stream within AWM Change Mobilization to drive the horizontal strategic design for the team and products. You will report to a Service Design Lead and work collaboratively with designers and teams within different work streams to share key findings and ensure alignment across the product suite. The role will be a mix of design research, strategy, workshops and journey mapping; providing the product triad (product owners, designers, engineers) with a holistic view of the products within the ecosystem and joining the dots for our partners in service of client objectives and outcomes. You are Passionate about advocating for the user and driving a user centric mindset Comfortable crafting digital strategy with input from multiple sources including user research, competitor analysis, business requirements and data Able to connect strategy and vision with tangible design outputs that drive detailed design Someone with an inquisitive mind that is eager to understand your users through user research Able to follow design guidelines, use design systems and other best practices alongside a good level of production knowledge of the Agile delivery process Comfortable with being flexible and adapting design direction based on shifting product requirements and stakeholder needs Responsibilities include: Working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary workstream of researchers, UX/UI, technologists and business experts to create new products and services. Understanding product goals and having a deep understanding of the business drivers behind them Collaborating with design team members and other stakeholders to identify new opportunities and design that create value for users. Identifying user research needs and using the insights and data to inform design Creating and delivering low to high fidelity design outcomes including design strategy, concepts, user journeys, wireframes, and user flows Delivering design outcomes to stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner Working closely with leads to ensure deliverables are consistent with the overall design standards Working closely with other disciplines to understand and provide feedback to design context and research Providing accurate estimation of tasks and help with prioritization Presenting design and communicating work to team members and stakeholders Flexibility/adaptability (ability to change direction based upon team and stakeholder consensus) Requirements 4+ years hands on experience in roles as product/ UX designer, across multiple devices and platforms (UX/UI of mobile + web applications, experience with consumer applications preferred) Strong portfolio with a proven understanding of Design Thinking methodologies. Ability to synthesize complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs and data Effective communication of design solutions across roles & levels Prototyping skills across a variety of mediums and fidelity Solid communication and interpersonal skills Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment Actively listens, hears and understands what is said and not said, and with nuanced comprehension of meaning and intent Develop and sustain effective and collaborative working relationships with peers, managers and other internal or external stakeholders Proficient experience using multiple design tools including Figma, Sketch, Invision and journey mapping tools.
