Applicants must be willing to submit to fingerprinting for a background check.Education, License, & CertClassroom training in a field relevant to security with coursework in behavioral sciences is strongly preferred. NYS registration as security guard is required. Valid Drivers License required. High School Diploma or equivalency required, further educational degree preferred.ExperienceOne or more years experience in institutional security, preferably in a health care facility or a similar setting. Working knowledge of the different departmental functions within a hospital or healthcare facility and working knowledge of state and federal security regulations desired. Must have experience in effectively interacting with people.
