PART TIME EXPRESSIVE THERAPIST

An expressive therapist provides clients with hand-on therapeutic activities to enhance the client''s ability to interact in positive and appropriate ways with others, to introduce patients to activities, which promote self-expression and self-esteem, and to give client''s insight about their behaviorRequirements• Master''s degree in an adjunctive therapy discipline including but not limited to art therapy, music therapy, movement therapy, recreation therapy, or similar course of study required.• Experience with children and/or adolescents in an inpatient or residential setting preferred.• Must possess a valid driver''s license.• Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.The candidate must pass a Criminal History Record Clearance & a Child Abuse History Clearance which are processed by KidsPeace as well as possess a valid driver''s license. The candidate must pass a Physical & Drug screening & possess the ability to attend & successfully complete all KidsPeace sponsored trainings. EOE
