You will have the opportunity to be a valued contributor to help us continue to mold our test automation framework in a cloud-computing environment.Your primary responsibilities will include functional, performance, API and synthetic / end user test automation. Principal Activities and Duties:• Works with Development, Quality Management (QM), Infrastructure and Business User teams to develop and execute software QM test plans. • Guides Business Users through User Acceptance testing. • Reviews progress toward the plan regularly with QM, Developers and Business Users and makes modifications as necessary. • Identifies defects in application code and makes recommendations for application functionality improvements. • Develops and executes Automation, Performance and Synthetic / End User monitoring test Scripts.• Serves as a mentor for other QM members. • Provides guidance and subject matter expertise to IT teams on QA methodologies and processes, educates them on their responsibilities/accountabilities for the purpose of achieving on-time and quality deliverables. • Coordinates and facilitates quality assurance activities across projects with project managers. Participates in Root Cause Analysis function and recommends process improvements.• Performs research on the latest Industry Trends in QM including Functional, Performance and Data Tools.• Serves as Test Lead on 1 or more projects.• Ensures compliance with SDLC and Internal Audit.Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor''s degree required. Will consider professional experience in lieu of education.• Five (5) years of QM / Application Testing Experience required.• Basic understanding of workflow management processes and tools.• Intermediate understanding of relational database structures to develop and execute SQL commands.• Intermediate understanding of Functional, API and Synthetic / End User test automation and ability to develop and execute automation test scripts. • Intermediate understanding of scripting languages to support automation and performance test script development. Must have experience using at least one of the following programming languages in conjunction with Test Automation: Python, JavaScript, C, Ruby, Java.• Intermediate level understanding of performance test tools and ability to develop and execute performance test scripts.
