The IT Systems Developer Apprentice is an individual contributor who participates in the IT software development life cycles and ongoing support. This position works closely with the IT Team and business stakeholders to provide custom IT solutions based on company needs. The IT Systems Developer Apprentice will be exposed to a wide range of system implementations and upgrade projects using technologies such as Microsoft 365, ADP Vantage, Staffbase, Oracle JD Edwards, Agilysys, InfoGenesis, Open Table, MatrixCare, DNS Administration, Salesforce and Enquire (CRM) and / or website hosting. Responsibilities: Supports in the technical design, coding, and unit testing of custom form/applications, reports, integrations, conversions and enhancement solutions using primarily Microsoft technologies (SQL, SharePoint, PowerApps and Power BI). Under the direction of the IT Development Manager, works directly with end-users and other system owners to build tangible solutions that fulfill end-user operational and business requirements. Supports the documentation of technical design specifications and unit test scripts. Assists in the preparation and staging of test data sets. Executes test scripts and logs related issues. Participates in the troubleshooting of bugs and issues. RequirementsEducation and Experience: Applicants must be currently enrolled and working towards a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Enrolled in or currently taking accredited courses in software development using relevant Microsoft technologies.
