Mold Technician

Position Description This position is responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by maintaining and preparing tooling or equipment while upholding customer standards, quality requirements, and company policies and procedures. •**This is an entry-level position Job Shift: Mon - Fri (8:00 am to 4:30 pm) Duties & Responsibilities: Mold Preparation Polish/prepare mold cavities and components to the required surface finish using various abrasives and techniques Drill mold venting holes with various size micro drills and handheld rotary tools Assembly of mold bases and cavities ensuring production readiness Inspect and repair minor mold damage or worn components Record mold production Shop Duties Assist machinists with mold components production Materials handling and preparation for machining operations using a pallet jack and forklifts Monitor and assist in maintaining inventory of purchased mold components, hardware, and raw materials Ensure work assignments are carried out to the highest quality ensuring customer quality and company needs are met Other duties as assigned Requirements: Working knowledge of basic hand tools and shop equipment Ability to read, write, speak, understand & communicate effectively in the English language Strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills and ability to professionally complete tasks Ability to handle complaints and resolve issues using decisions making and analytical abilities Must pass a negative pre-employment drug test Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision Life Insurance (100% Paid by the Company) 401 (K) plan and company match Paid holidays Paid Time Off program Supplemental Insurance Employee Referral Program EOE Statement: We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
