With competitive pay and benefits, stable work, and an environment that is caring and supportive, National Beef could become your next career move!Our schedules rotate every four weeks between the following: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - full shift; Thursday - half shift Friday, Saturday, Sunday - full shift; Thursday - half shiftResponsibilities:Responsibilities for the Electrician Position include but are not limited to:Trouble-shooting, Repairing and Replacing electrical componentsDismantling and removing electrical cables and wiringInstall new equipmentRunning of electrical conduitUnderstand and comply with all safety and electrical codesOther duties as assignedThis is a safety sensitive position. This is not a remote position.Qualifications:Qualified candidates for the Electrician position should possess the following:Able to read blueprintsPrevious electrical experience - preferably in an industrial settingAble to drive a forklift or willing to undertake forklift trainingAble to work outside in all weatherAble to lift up to 75-100 poundsAble to read and writeAble to use basic mathematicsAble to stand/walk on concrete/stairs for duration of shiftAble to pass mechanical aptitude testAble to use laddersAble to use lift trucks (i.e. - Snorkel Lift / bucket lift)Able to use various hand tools and power toolsAble to work with a group or unsupervisedAbility to work various shifts and 'on-call'' as neededRequirements:Preferred Block Certified or Journeyman ElectricianUse 2-way radiosWear task-specific Personal Protective EquipmentComply with all safe work practices and proceduresKeep work areas clean and tidy at all timesCompany Overview:National Beef is a leader in producing fresh, chilled and further processed beef products for customers in the U.S. and worldwide.
