DDI Technology is seeking aCloud Architectto join the team at our facility in Irmo, SC.DDI Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IAA, Inc,provides a complete automotive titling and registration suite for financial institutions and dealers. Committed to excellence, DDI continues to focus on superior products, professional and consulting services in the areas of Electronic Liens and Titles.Our company is growing rapidly and is searching for experienced and talented cloud architect to manage our company''s cloud architecture and position in cloud environments. This position will play a strategic role in maintaining all cloud systems including the front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience designing and transferring applications to the cloud. A positive attitude and excellent communication skills will be required to be effective.Key Responsibilities:Conduct analysis, design and implementation of infrastructure and cloud data center solutions including computing, networking, routing, and securityCreate a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption processDesign and support solutions in a cloud computing and virtualized computing environmentsRegularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and softwareCreate automation and use monitoring tools to efficiently build, deploy and support cloud implementationsDesign and coordinate projects of significant size and complexityPartner professionally with business groups and resources across organizations to achieve goals and objectivesAct as lead architect on projects to guide and deliver successful resultsSuccessfully communicate, evangelize, and implement the architectural vision across teams and productsManage overarching product/platform architecture and make sure that design and development of all projects follow the architectural visionWork closely with IT security to monitor the company''s cloud privacy.Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely fluence the strategic direction of activities with Project Stakeholders, Product Management, Architecture, and Development teamsDevelop technical collateral to highlight best practices, including architectural design work, lab testing, and publishing documentationProvide technical direction to cross-functional project teams, in different geographies, during the development and implementation of major initiativesSolve problems as they arise and coach other team members to do the sameCompetencies and Preferred Skills:Fine attention to detailExperience with Microsoft AzureFamiliarity with software development process and methodologiesBachelor''s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field.3-5+ years of experience designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions.Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.Up to 5% travelIAA is committed to providing equal employment opportunities regardless of race, religion, creed, color, sex, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, veteran status, citizenship status, or marital status.IAA is a drug-free workplace.
