Find your future with us.Position Responsibilities:Contributes to the development and field support of mechanical, electrical and fluid systems for the F-22 fighterWorks closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment to develop interface definitions and system/subsystem requirementsPerforms detail design development, including spatial integration of CAD models, for subsystem components and installations as part of multi-disciplined teamSupports the maintenance and modification of platform system designs/drawings to provide documentation to downstream usersAssists with trade studies, design reviews, analyses, simulations and component/system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectationsInvestigates and troubleshoots anomalies in fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycleCollaborates with other technical and non-technical disciplines to support Program executionMonitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirementsAssists in preparing technical documents for presentations and customer reviews/proposalsWorks with customers to develop and document mechanical system requirements on complex multi-tiered projectsWorks under close supervision of technical lead and chief engineerHybrid/Telecommute:This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. (St. Louis, MO).This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Possess a Bachelor''s, Master''s or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in systems design and/or systems analysis and/or systems integrationExperience working with aerospace vehicles and their components, including company and industry standards and practicesExperience analyzing data and generating metrics reportsExperience with CATIA V5 or other computer aided design softwareExperience with reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, material processes, schematic and diagramsTypical Education & Experience:Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
