The Driver will be working under the direction of the Operations Manager, with key responsibilities that include the delivery and pickup of implants and instrumentation to hospitals and medical facilities within a defined geographic area, vehicle maintenance as needed, on call rotation assignment relating to after-hour emergencies and office assistance on an as needed basis. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, as well as a valid driver''s license with an acceptable driver''s abstract are required.The Bellevue, Washington Location is open from 7am till 8pm with shift variables. Principal Duties and Responsibilities•Preparation, transport/delivery and pickup of implants and instrumentation to hospitals and medical facilities; obtain signature from customer to document proof of delivery.•Maintain company vehicle assigned including alert to supervisor of repairs and servicing needs.•Prepare daily drivers log to document vehicle safety inspection, track mileage, expenses and pickups and deliveries.•On a monthly basis, reconcile purchases and process receipts utilizing Procurement card.•Assist with warehouse and inventory as needed.•Must be team oriented.•During slow time or downtown, there may be a need to assist your teammates in the warehouse facility."ƒ"ƒThis is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all of the ''essential functions''.Expected Areas of CompetenceAbility to lift up to 50 pounds independentlyOrganizational and time management skills are essentialDemonstrated knowledge to identify Zimmer Biomet products by major product groupings and familiarity with product lines of other division.Must maintain professional and courteous demeanor with internal and external customers.Education/Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma, equivalent G.E.D, or equivalent experienceValid driver''s licenseAcceptable driving recordVendor Credentialing possibly requiredParticipation in an on-call schedule rotationTravel RequirementsUp tp 5% overnightAdditional InformationAt Zimmer Biomet, we believe in The Power of Us, which means that we are stronger together.
