Find your future with us.Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for a early career Associate Dimensional Management Design Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing team located in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will have a background supporting defense aircraft in design and manufacturingPosition Responsibilities:Leads Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development, complex producibility studies and production/tooling philosophies. Refines, validates, coordinates and implements conceptual designs and manages the program architecture for build.Develops manufacturing plans and oversees plan optimization. Conducts complex producibility, variation, and dimensional analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirement.Resolves complex technical problems. Serves as a project manager to ensure that contract requirements, specifications, design criteria and schedule performance are integrated and maintained.Leads advanced design solutions and supports research of new product or business opportunities.Deploys company Lean Enterprise analysis methods. Documents and communicates producibility best practices. Provides guidance to others through structured mentoring.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate may be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) A final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor''s, Master''s or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry1+ years supporting aircraft manufacturing1+ years supporting military/defense customersPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):1+ years in design and/or dimensional analysisExperience working with many IPTs of varying backgroundsTypical Education & Experience:Bachelor''s degree and typically 2 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a Master''s degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
