Maintenance System Specialist Job DetailsLevelExperienced Job LocationSaint Louis Division - St. Louis, MO Position TypeFull Time Education Level2 Year Degree Salary Range$32.20 - $32.20 Hourly Job CategoryMaintenance Install, maintain, and repair all furnaces, equipment, and buildings in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications, utilizing knowledge of computer hardware, personal computers (PCs), software, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drivers (VFDs), electronic equipment, electrical equipment, mechanical hardware, piping, and welding. Install, configure and troubleshoot microprocessor-based systems, electronic equipment and power distribution equipment. Update ACAD drawings as required. Provide support to the Information Services Department and networks systems as required. Help maintain spare parts inventory. Key Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, maintain, calibrate, configure and repair all computer hardware, electrical power distribution equipment, electrical controls and related electrical equipment and systems such as PCs, PLCs, monitors, electronic data storage devices, electronic scales, process controllers, printers, induction machines, heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, instruments, recorders, units, mechanical hardware etc. Recommend and execute updates to equipment Preventative Maintenance program to continuously improve plant equipment reliability. Modify, program and update PLC and equipment computer programs including integrated proportional (PID) control systems as required. Maintain PC, PLC, and process controller hardware and software inventory. Assist the Maintenance Manager in keeping the plant in compliance with applicable pyrometry standards (ie. CQI-9). Maintain VFDs, and automatic gas atmosphere controls. Backup special instrumentation data, control application programs and PLC programs as required. Perform duties of a Maintenance Technician, Plant Maintenance Man. Assist the Manager in maintaining spare parts inventory. Qualifications: Requires an Associate of Science in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, or equivalent education and experience. Requires a thorough knowledge of electrical power systems, microprocessor based and computer control systems, PLC ladder logic controls, PLC programming and current computer hardware. This position requires the knowledge of current computer operating systems, computer data storage systems, application programs and integrated PID control systems.3 years working in a multidisciplinary industrial maintenance position in an industrial environment Must be available for all shifts. License(s)/Certification(s) Required: Must be able to obtain a forklift certification.
