Job Type Full-timeDescriptionSummary:Member of the Operations Team. Direct a team of Process Engineers, Lab Supervisor, and Quality Administrator to achieve a systematic approach of quality assurance and process engineering. Create a partnership with operation leadership that provides resources to support timely and effective quality solutions and includes feedback for front line operators. Initiate and lead improvements to various phases of the manufacturing processes and create a focus on continuous improvement. Promote strong communication methods within department staff to ensure proactive and meaningful technical support to Operations is being achieved. RequirementsDuties and Responsibilities:• Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operations. • Ensure auditing test processes are comprehensive and compliant to applicable standards including new testing procedures. • Direct all quality management systems and metrics. • Ensure proper management of ISO 9001 and internal audit systems, certification, and supplier performance. • Promote active partnership with operations/engineering/maintenance to identify impediments and support efforts. • Create strong interface with customers to resolve quality issues and establish corrective actions. • Verify product, process chemical or environmental compliance with specifications and regulations . • Coordinates and implements projects and action plans.• Initial set up and periodic review of product, customer element, and process master files to assure manufacturing process meets or exceeds customer expectations for their products.• Analyze and respond to customer complaints and corrective action requests.• Encourage and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment• Qualifications:• 2-3 years of Leadership experience in a manufacturing, production or maintenance.• Experience with progressive levels of supervisory responsibility.• Strong communication, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills.Special Demands:• While performing the duties of this job, will be regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.• May be exposed to wet or humid conditions. • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.• May be regularly exposed to high noise environments.• May be exposed to extremely dusty environments.Education / Training:Minimum: • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field. Preferred: • Master''s degree in a related engineering field.
