Dining Room Manager 55k - 60k

Exclusive Central Ohio Private Country Club, located in New Albany, seeks a polished Dining Room Manager to direct and oversee the operational flow of multiple simultaneously operating a la carte dining outlets.Salary is commensurate with experience.Applicant must maintain a persona that reflects a premier private Club; act as a goodwill ambassador to members and guests.Applicant must have five to seven years of like-kind experience, including a minimum of 3 yearsin fine dining restaurant/resort-club management with diverse wine knowledge.This position requires the ability to multi-task and be an ''on your feet'' thinker while leading a service team in both word and deed.Applicant must be a sincere team-oriented manager who will ultimately work in concert with fellow A la Carte Management Team and Club Sommelier.Must be versed in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.Applicant should serve as a role model while being the first point of contact for an exclusive membership.A polished, professional, mature, efficient individual yet an eager, fast learner is central to this search. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identity, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost savings.The position has inherent growth opportunities; success at this level will open new areas of leadership for the right candidate.Experience with MS Word, Excel, POS systems, Publisher, and Website maintenance (a plus).Hours vary and must be flexible. Evenings, weekends, and holidays are vital time frames.Neat, professional appearance; applicant must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance.
