Full Time123 Medical Center DriveManagement/LeadershipDay ShiftMaineHealth is seeking a President to lead Mid Coast Parkview Health (MCPH), a dynamic healthcare organization located in Brunswick, Maine. Reporting to the Coastal Regional President and to the MCPH Board of Directors, the President of MCPH will be the top executive and the face of the organization for community engagement and involvement. MCPH consist of the following:* Mid Coast Hospital, a full-service, 93-bed, Joint Commission accredited hospital with an active medical staff of more than 200 physicians and advanced practice professionals, including Mid Coast Medical Group, a multi-specialty physician group with 4 primary care and 18 specialty practices.* Mid Coast Senior Health, a senior healthcare provider offering assisted living, memory care, long-term care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation.* CHANS Home Health & Hospice, a home health care agency providing in-home nursing, rehabilitation, palliative, and hospice care.This is a great opportunity for an experienced health care executive to assume leadership of a well-run hospital that is supported by its community and enhanced by its membership in the MaineHealth system. As the most recent member of MaineHealth, MCPH''s next President will continue the work of aligning with the larger system while pursuing the strategic opportunities that alignment affords.Centered in Brunswick, Maine, MCPH is a pillar of the Mid Coast community with a long-standing tradition of collaboration with civic organizations and support from the business community. The next President, as the face of the organization, will be expected to maintain and deepen relationships with the community, even as MCPH continues its integration into the MaineHealth system.Among other duties, the President will also be expected to* Lead and position MCPH as a leader in high quality and innovative clinical services in the region and throughout the state through collaborative partnerships with physicians, employees, board, board committees, and community* Serve as the President of the Board of the Thornton Oaks Homeowner''s Association, and execute management contract accountabilities* Work with senior leaders to create a culture that encourages quality, accountability, excellence and superior results in patient, employee and physician engagement* In alignment with the MaineHealth strategic plan, execute the vision and support business strategies to enhance market share and improve overall system performance, ensuring the long-term financial viability of the organization* Foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment at order to be considered for the position, candidates must have a Master''s or Advanced degree in Health Care Administration or related field and a minimum of ten years of progressive leadership and management roles in healthcare. Further, the search committee is seeking candidates who are community-minded, visible to staff, strategically and financially astute, collaborative, and kind.
