The A&D team works with states and providers to design, develop, refine, evaluate, and manage programs that support older adults and people with disabilities. Our mission is to help our clients improve the lives of the people they serve. The A&D team is seeking to add a team-oriented communications professional that will help advise our clients on how to more effectively communicate with their audiences.We are seeking a Sr. Communications Manager that will serve as an expert in client engagements managing the communications process from inception through implementation. This may include visioning, strategy development, message development, and oversight of collateral creation. The Sr. Communications Manager will work with Subject Matter Experts and other consulting staff to deliver a variety of projects to clients from short-term, targeted strategy efforts to large-scale systems transformation projects in the Health and Human Services sector. This position requires creative thinking as well as a keen technical eye and excellent communications skills. The ideal candidate will also be a strong-relationship builder that can contribute to business development efforts as the A&D team grows. Experience with government agencies and/or human services organizations is preferred but not essential.Specific Responsibilities: Advise clients on communications strategies and best practicesBuild and execute communications plans and marketing plansCraft stakeholder messaging strategies and collateralDevelop client branding strategiesBuild relationships with client management and communications staffAdvise project teams on how to approach unique communications challengesOversee staff work on communications and marketing effortsWrite responses to client RFPs related to communications, stakeholder engagement, and marketingProduce sales and marketing collateral related to field of expertiseAssist with efforts to produce web content, articles, conference materials, and presentationsQualificationsSkills: Ability to consult and advise clients to achieve the best business outcomesExpertise in communications methodologies, tools and practicesAbility to communicate expertly to internal and external customersIndependently able to quickly come up to speed on project assignmentsCreative problem-solving ability and a strong consultancy mindsetExcellent business writing skills and ability to lead presentations to various audiencesExperience supervising staff (preferred)Experience: Bachelors degreeA minimum of 5-10 years relevant experienceKnowledge or experience with health and human services organizations and/or government agencies (preferred)LI-MB1LI-RemoteEEO StatementPublic Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to celebrating diversity and intentionally creating a culture of inclusion.
