DescriptionPsychiatric Nurse Practitioner $5,000 Sign on Bonus The Eliot Center in Concord is seeking a nurse practitioner to provide medication management services to our child, adolescent and young adult population. Excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement and supervision provided. $5,000 sign on bonusResponsibilities: Provide medication evaluation, prescription services, and monitoring and administration of psychopharmacologic agents and their side effects to clients and their families.Orders and reviews any necessary lab procedures. Provide consultation services, including evaluating non-psychiatric and physical health problems and making referrals, when appropriate. Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans in accordance with Utilization Review standards, sound clinical practice, and in collaboration with the client and clinician. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with community agencies. Comply with all statutes and regulations relevant to the maintenance of clinical standards in the Commonwealth, e.g. mandated reporting, and duty to warn. Maintain documentation consistent with the state requirements of a nurse in the expanded role. Obtain and maintain current certifications in CPR, First Aid and all other required training. Ensure that all certificates are current and provide required documentation to the Agency.Responsible for promoting and upholding the principles of Corporate Compliance and the ECHS Corporate Compliance program. Adhere to all ECHS policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct, consumer Confidentiality, and HIPPA.Act in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner, following all applicable ECHS policies and procedures, state/federal laws, regulations and reporting requirements. Respect diversity of others by demonstrating and modeling cultural awareness and sensitivity at all times. Perform other job related duties as assigned. Requirements: Holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited university/college and is currently licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing to practice as a licensed Nurse Practitioner, is registered to practice as a Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Board of Nursing Specialties and Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMN, NP-BC) by the American Nurses Association. Maintains a valid registration(s) to issue written oral prescriptions or medication orders for controlled substances from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the United States Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration.
