Light & Wonder''s gaming team builds cutting-edge technology, products, and content for the most iconic casinos and operators across the globe.Position SummaryJob Summary:The person in this position performs system configurations, customer support, maintenance, and installation of system and EGM products. This position will be the front-line interface to the customers on all systems issues.Essential Job Functions:* Provides customer support to both internal and external customers* Provide routine preventative and service maintenance support for all system products and hardware* Provides installation and modification support for all products and systems supported; to include all hardware as well as all EGM''s in the field* Thorough understanding of functions and operation of system products* Assists in identifying systems, component or equipment failures and coordinates corrective action in cooperation with other company or vendor groups* Completes required maintenance records in an accurate, concise, and clear manner* Functions as an L&W representative to develop and ensure positive customer relations and professional service support for all systems and EGM products supported* Develops and maintains current knowledge of L&W''s business capabilities, products, and services* Oversees and maintains repair parts inventory to provide cost effective and timely service repair or modifications to L&W systems, EGM''s, and hardware* Provides on call 24 hour 7 days a week support when designated as the on-call representative* Adheres to established workmanship standards, policies, and procedures of field operations* Analyzes operational difficulties and gathers information to isolate causes of failure or problems* Answer customer questions on system capabilities, reports, and operationQualificationsTraining and/or Experience:* One to two years of System related support and service* One to two years of EGM related support and service* Must have working knowledge of Windows Servers (2003-2012)* Must have working knowledge of server hardware and components* Trained or experience in electrical/communication hardware and troubleshooting* Gaming experience a plusQualificationsEducation:* Bachelor''s or Associate''s Degree/Equivalent in Computer science or related field of study or equivalent experienceKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:* A working knowledge of Microsoft SQL (2000-2008) including the use of query analyzer* Some understanding of software architecture and programming a plus* Working knowledge of networking, its hardware, and principles including TCP/IP (Network + and A+)* Demonstrated knowledge of computer operating systems, digital equipment components and their discrete parts* Strong interpersonal and communication skills* Must be 21 years of age* Must have acute color perception* Ability to lift 50 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person* Ability to respond timely to common inquiries or calls of service from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community* Ability to conduct thorough system analysis and produce supporting documentation.* Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and written) with other related organizations (internal and external) to develop solutions as required.* Ability to recreate reported issues in a lab environment, working towards finding a solution and going through the proper channels to address it in the field.* Ability to work effectively as a team to accomplish business objectives* Basic Microsoft Office skillsWork Conditions:* The work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations* Daily travel to customer sites within designated region with other travel as assignedLight & Wonder and its affiliates (collectively, ''L&W'') are engaged in highly regulated gaming and lottery businesses.
