Senior Manager, Commercial Operations

TriLink BioTechnologies, a Maravai LifeSciences company, is seeking Senior Manager, Commercial Operations to join our grow team. This role is responsible for managing the TriLink Quoting and Commercial Operations departments under the direction of the Commercial Operations Director. They will be responsible for all operational process, staff, hiring, and training of these teams. This position is the spokesperson for these teams to leadership and support to the Commercial Operations Director''s domestic and global initiatives.Responsibilities* Provide management and leadership for the Commercial Operations and Quoting Department through ADP, Salesforce, Asana, and NetSuite (TriLink tools).* Responsible for all compliance for Commercial Operations and Quoting including SOX, internal audits, deviations, and Quality.* Responsible for managing all Commercial Operations and Quoting training materials and SOP''s and development of these training materials. Ensuring the teams compliance and sign off all training in Asana, Litmos and Master Control.* Leading and development of all Commercial Operations and Quoting meetings and cross- departmental communication.* Responsible for all escalations and management of quoting and Commercial Operations.* Provide metrics and reporting to the Commercial Director.* Achieve all process development, employee retention, and turn-around-time goals supporting the Commercial revenue goals.* Develop plans for continued improvements and growth by providing FTE reports, org charts, process maps, cross-functional communication, and improved TAT.* Develop events and teambuilding activities to foster relationships and recognition.* Creating a safe and healthy work environment and building a culture that aligns with TriLink/ Maravai focused on employee retention, including 1:1''s and performance feedback to the Director and through ADP.* Manage multiple revenue centered reports and data to support Commercial Directors and leadership.* Mange project management for Commercial Operations.* Assist Commercial Directors and VP with all operational cross functional initiatives.* Oversee commercial agendas, events, client visits, and meetings.* Approver for Commercial Operations and Quoting MasterControl and NetSuite related events per matrix.* Work collaboratively with sales management providing accurate quotations to the estimated TAT.* Manage all Sales and Commercial inbound requests fulfilling all requests in a professional, timely manner.* Foster cross-functional relationships with Sales, BD, Planning, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Product Management, Program Management, Alliance Management, external vendors, and global teams to provide communication and efficient execution of requests.* Management for the SAM government system* Responsible for Commercial sales management of Salesforce@ inbox, dashboards, Asana tasks and reporting.* Performs other functions and duties as required.Qualifications* BS degree in Chemistry or Biological Science preferred or 5 years of experience in Bio Industry* 5+ years management experience in a sales/ commercial environment managing a medium sized department (preferred 8 or more).* Experience with presenting to Leadership using PowerPoint and Excel data.* Experience in organizing and tracking several projects simultaneously using project management tools.* Experience in Commercial departments and/ or sales with client-facing communications.* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.* Salesforce or CRM Experience.* NetSuite experience preferred.* Results driven self-starter with experience building new teams (preferred with global outreach)TriLink BioTechnologies is a rapidly growing biotech firm in San Diego, CA, that offers competitive wages and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, LTD, and a retirement plan.TriLink BioTechnologies is an EEO employer.Receipt of a copy of your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card reflecting fully vaccinated status prior to date of hire is required
