ICS - FI CMG BDE Job Description Grant Thornton is seeking a Director to join its Arlington based Public Sector Practice and take a lead role in selling Grant Thornton''s services within Civilian Accounts. This is a management level position reporting directly to the Grant Thornton Principals and Managing Directors. The focus of this role is penetrating into new markets with an emphasis on pursuing prime, large, multi-year annuity contracts specific to the Federal Financial Institutions and Federal Financial Regulatory Agencies. Grant Thorntons Public Sector helps executives and managers at all levels of government maximize performance and efficiency in the face of ever tightening budgets and increased demand for services. Our public sector team members find solutions that help government leaders with issues including acquisitions, financial management, human capital, information technology and performance management in federal, state, local and international governments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Uncover and qualify new opportunities in the marketplace develop a robust pipeline Identify and shape opportunities to secure large prime IDIQs and BPAs Identify and secure teaming partners across spectrum of small businesses, as well as large businesses and software vendors related to large deal capture Establish business development strategies for the Federal Financial Institutions and Federal Financial Regulatory Agencies portfolio of accounts QUALIFICATIONS: Three (3) or more years selling and/or delivering consulting services preferably into the Federal Financial Institutions and Federal Financial Regulatory Agencies Strong track record of meeting or exceeding quota Possess strong knowledge and an established network within the Federal Financial Institutions and Federal Financial Regulatory Agencies and broader market related to teaming partners Proven track record of leading capture and winning work Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements Travel may be required Grant Thornton LLP is the U.S. member firm of Grant Thornton International, one of the six global accounting, tax and business advisory organizations.
