Nokia''s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.The Advanced Photonics Team designs high-performance coherent optical front-end modules based on silicon photonic integrated circuits, broadband Silicon Germanium integrated circuits and DSPs, within high-frequency packaging. The mission of the team is to bring these devices from an applied research stage all the way to volume production. As a member of our Advanced Photonics team, you''ll be working alongside experienced technical team leads and designers with strong records of delivering innovative photonic device designs into production.What you will learn and contribute toR&D Architecture comprises capturing business, operational, technical, and non-functional requirements from the stakeholders and the delivery of a product architecture to meet the defined needs and constraints. It includes the processing of use-case and feature requirements into conceptual models, operational scenarios, technical requirements, and functional descriptions. R&D Architecture has a broad system- and product-architecture competence as well as an understanding of the full ecosystem.As a Senior Electro-Optics Architect you are responsible to design the architecture of Nokia fiber-optic transmitter-, receiver- or transceiver-products. You design, define, and guide implementation of hardware and control firmware requirements from customer requirements and strategic business/technology objectives while considering technical limits and tradeoffs of state-of-the-art transceiver subcomponents. You coordinate the design of components and their integration into a full system.
